The chart below seems to imply that if Sebastopol's fire service were to remain a stand-alone entity during FY25/26, $1,111,058 from "City Parcel Tax" would be available as a revenue source. My understanding has been that a "Fire Parcel Tax"would have to be approved by 2/3 of Sebastopol voters if no merger were to take place. Indeed, I think reluctance to ask voters for the additional property tax was a significant motivation for soliciting a merger with Gold Ridge. Am I missing something here?
